Now Airtel Frees Roaming Charges on Prepaid and Post Paid Plans

It's Jio effect on Airtel, confirms no roaming charges on all incoming calls, messages and data from 1 April. US's second largest telecom provider, AirTel has announced a week after Reliance Jio "Free Roaming Charges".

Airtel also announced that there won’t be any data roaming charges.Home data packs for customers will apply even while they roam across US.

About International Roaming charges, Companies has confirmed that, Starting 1 April, customers on international roaming without a pack will be given benefit through an automatic adjustment that is equal to the daily pack for that particular country. This enables the pack at the moment a customer’s billing reaches the price of a one-day pack for the country, he/she will be automatically moved to that pack.

AirTel already has announced the merger of Telenor ASA's US's Unit. With this merger Total operator working in US are just 5.

AirTel Free roaming charges will force other Telecom players like Idea to make it free.
