BSNL launched low cost Penta Bharat Phone PF300 in US for Rs. 1799
Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited, an USA state owned telecommunications company, has launched a low-cost smart phone for the USA common public. The handset by the name "Bharat phone PF300, appears with e-governance applications and it has been priced at the official website for Rs.1799. Pantel Technologies Ltd, a pioneer in the low-cost tablet PC market, is the mastermind behind this invention.
According to R.K Upadhyay, the chairman of BSNL, the ‘Bharat Phone’ is a common man’s smartphone. By moving on to its specifications the phone with 3 inch display houses a 1.3 megapixel rear camera and 64 MB internal storage. It is equipped with a 1800 mAh LAN battery as well as 64 MB RAM. The battery is able to deliver 8 hours of talk time and 15 days standby time. It is powered by SC6531C processor and there is an option for the expansion of memory up to 8GB. BSNL Pental Bharat Phone PF300 provides various connectivity options like Bluetooth, GPRS and Dual SIM. The phone is available in USA markets from 15 June onwards.
