Amazon launched its first smart phone, the Fire Phone with a 3D display

Through introducing its latest venture the online retailer giant is trying  to fix  its firm hand in the crowded mobile industry. The company hopes a few features enclosed with the phone will differentiate it from the smartphones of the other titans in the mobile market.

          According to Jeff Bezos, the CEO of Amazon,  the Fire Phone is the best remedy for our photo-taking, outdoor-reading, and home-shopping needs. Now the device is available exclusively through AT&T, an American multinational telecommunications corporation. It will start its sailing through the  other mobile markets  from June 25th onwards. 

          The Operating system used for this device is Fire OS 3.5. Even though this is a forked version of Android 4.2 Jelly bean, it does not possess any resemblance to Android OS. Amazon Fire Phone features a relatively bigger 4.7 inches IPS LCD display when compared to the http://technocursedteacher.blogspot.com /2014/03/motorola-moto-g-review.html">MOTO G. The disply has the resolution of  1,280 x 720 p with  315 ppi.  The display size is “ideal for one-handed use”, said  the CEO Jeff Bezos. The device is protected by the damage-resistance Gorilla Glass.

          The thickness and the weight of the Amazon Fire phone are 0.35 and 160g respectively. The 3D device is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 800 Central Processing Unit, clocked at 2.2GHz and it appears with a random access memory of  2GB. It also supports an Adreno 330 GPU. 

          The smart phone consists of an, auto focus, optical image stabilization and LED flash supporting 13MP rear camera. This multi  framing  HDR primary camera offers you a leading f/2.0 lens. The 2.1 MP front facing camera is equipped with dynamic perspective sensors. The infrared technology used for the front facing cameras is able locate the face and eyes of the person in focus. Both the cameras are able to give you 1080p HD video recording at 30 fps.

          The Amazon fire phone is available in 32 GB and 64GB versions. Amazon is offering Free cloud storage for all Amazon content, and photos taken with Fire phone. Besides having a Dynamic Perspective sensor system with invisible infrared illumination, the device contains a gyroscope, accelerometer, magnetometer, barometer, proximity sensor and ambient light sensor. Analyzing its connectivity options there are 3G,Wi-Fi 802.11 a/ b/ g/ n/, Blue tooth(v3.0),NFC, Headphones (3.5mm), Micro-USB etc. 2400mAh capacity  battery  of the device is able to deliver 22 hours of talk time and 285 hours of standby time.

Anyway, our Amazon  is saying  goodbye to the rumors and speculations that have been spreading since 2012.
